Archives: Project Profiles

Bristol Community College

When hired by the college, we were told the school wanted potential students to see the campus and say “I like it, I can see myself here”. We developed a campus-wide master plan to achieve a beautiful setting for staff, faculty, and students.

Monomoy Road

This pool sits naturally in a private, open-air garden. It’s enjoyed whether you’re hanging in the shallow end, diving to the bottom of the deep end, or just catching rays.

Temple Road

Triangle Park

This project at an old MBTA rail yard brought back a town common with archaic remnants of the old barn and village bell. Using rustic materials reminiscent of the 18th and 19th centuries, we established a welcoming gateway to the historic community.

Main and Fair

At Main and Fair Street, the Land Bank obtained a lot too small to build a home on. It used to be a private yard and croquet court. DBLA was recruited to make a beautiful public space.

Shawkemo Hills

This cement pond (or vanishing edge pool!) looks like it should have movie stars mingling around it. But it’s quiet, peaceful, and reflective… until the guests arrive.

Capaum Pond Road

The plunge pool is everything these folks needed - little decking, small pool surface, nothing exorbitant, but plenty of room to expand and accommodate plenty of people when those occasions arise.

South Miacomet Road

A plunge pool sunken into its setting, buffered from the wind.

Greenleaf Road

When a well-composed homefront can complement an open panorama, a sense of completeness is found at every point of view.
