Nantucket ARFF
The Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Station at Nantucket Airport would not resemble the shingled homes or brick mansions the island boasts. The building required functionality for aircraft emergencies. Bartsch Landscape Architecture was instrumental in helping to orient the building. We shepherded it through local permitting. And we provided site planning and design for the project. It’s a bright spot of difference.
In collaboration with Fennick McCready Architecture, Hoyle Tanner (MEP), L.A. Fuess (structural), and Jacobs Engineering (owner’s rep).
